BIO
Brent Mantooth of Curious Cat Arts – Photography is an artist and scientist who captures light to tell a story and inspire your curiosity. He uses telescopes to peer into deep space to reveal massive nebula and distant galaxies that look like images seen by the Hubble or Jambes Web space telescopes. Deep space images use exposures of up to 18 hours from his back yard to capture the faint details of these amazing objects. He also uses traditional photography to capture striking landscapes, and wildlife. His range of subjects is broad, and he strives for craftsmanship with each image. His images provide a connection that should inspire your curiosity and wonder with art that you will want to live with and will motivate you every day. He works with a lab to produce prints on metals that produce amazing luminance, depth, and vibrance. He also prints using metallic and other specialty paper in the Curious Cat Arts Studio in Bel Air MD. Brent will work with you to customize an image to work in your space.
