Squishaus is the Columbia-based creative partnership of Nikolas Swaner and Magnus Hoopes. They work in a variety of mediums, primarily paper and textiles and have exhibited at many previous Lakefests over the last decade. Squishaus’ work focuses on the intersection of the whimsical and the monstrous; traditional folk arts and modern concerns; and things soft and cute for their own sake.
