Margaret Molinari is a Maryland-based textile printmaker best known for her use of fruits, vegetables, and found objects as printing tools. By embracing unconventional materials, she explores texture, shape, and pattern in ways that are both playful and unexpected. Her work is inspired by close observation of her surroundings, transforming everyday natural and man-made items into bold, graphic, and largely representational designs. Familiar yet surprising, her prints invite viewers to look closer, sparking curiosity and personal connection.
Margaret has exhibited in many group shows including Pyramid Atlantic’s Member Mash Up and Maryland’s Regional Textile Showcase. A graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, she spent decades as a surface designer creating work for major retailers across apparel, textiles, and paper goods. Today, her daily printing videos have built a dedicated following, inspiring others to explore accessible and creative approaches to textile printmaking.
