Description:  Over laughter, tea and a few tears, two friends try to help each other process the events of the Charlottesville protests of August 11-12.

Director Commentary: We live in a time of intense political activism. Everyday, someone is out on the street defending their humanity, striving to be heard and hoping for a better future. This film is meant to honor those people as well as their friends and family who hold them with love everyday.

Director Bio:  Latisha Jones is a writer, actress and theater educator. A Columbia, MD native and Long Reach High School graduate, Latisha had since earned her bachelor’s degree in screenwriting and playwriting from Drexel University and her master’s degree in Educational Theater from New York University. For over 10 years, she has taught with people of all ages with a specialty in diversity training and multicultural education. In the past three years, she has developed a seminar called  “Facilitating Difficult Conversations” with a focus on using conversation and theater techniques as a method of community development, encouraging dialogue and fostering understanding between people of various ages, classes and cultures.
